The joint statement following a meeting between U.S. President Joe Biden and the prime ministers of Australia, India, and Japan in the U.S. state of Delaware emphasizes the importance of adherence to international law and the principles of the UN Charter, including respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of all states.

The leaders of the dialogue also emphasized the need to achieve a just and lasting peace that is consistent with international law and the principles of the UN Charter. In their view, the war has a negative impact on global food and energy security, especially for developing countries.

The Quad countries rejected any use or threat of use of nuclear weapons and called on all states to refrain from the use or threat of force against the sovereignty or territorial integrity of any country.

In addition, the statement notes that the next Quad summit will be held in India in 2025.
