US may provide Ukraine with medium-range cruise bombs for F-16

The United States is considering providing Ukraine with medium-range cruise bombs for its new F-16 fleet as part of a military aid package. The $375 million package is expected to be officially announced on Monday.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Politico.
The Joint Standoff Weapon cruise missile, which is already used by the US Air Force and Navy and several allies, can hit targets over 70 miles (112.6 km) away.
The package, according to two U.S. officials and a person familiar with the matter, would also include artillery munitions, missiles and air defense missiles. However, they said the contents of the package could change before an official announcement.
