"The Netherlands has canceled the deal to sell its remaining F-16s to Draken International. It's easy to guess where they will end up," the report said.

According to media reports, Draken International was supposed to receive 40 F-16s. The first 12 fighters were already sold by the Netherlands in 2022.

The Dutch Ministry of Defense reported that 28 fighters are to be decommissioned by May 2024.

Earlier it became known that Britain and the Netherlands will create a coalition of fighter jets for Ukraine. London and Amsterdam have agreed to support Ukraine with everything from pilot training to the purchase of F16 aircraft.
