Duda confirms plans to meet with Trump "if possible"
Polish President Andrzej Duda has not ruled out meeting with future US presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Duda told reporters about this before leaving for the United States, RMF24 reports.
The Polish president said that he had a preliminary agreement to meet with Trump in New York, "but it all depends on the opportunities" that will be available at that time.
"If there is an opportunity, because it also depends on the calendar, I will meet with President Donald Trump," Duda said.
According to him, he and Trump have known each other for a long time.
"It's not a new situation for me to meet with friends who have served as president and with whom I conducted Polish affairs in the international arena," Duda stressed.
