Yuriy Fedorenko, the commander of the battalion of strike unmanned aerial systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “Achilles” of the 92nd OShBr named after the basket chieftain Sirka, announced this on the air of Ukrainian Radio.

According to him, the Defense Forces, despite the lack of ammunition, are holding positions in the area of Chasiv Yar, and the enemy has not had any tactical successes in the past day.

The combat officer noted that Chasiv Yar is a commanding height, and in the event of taking possession of it, the occupiers will be able to take under fire control Kostyantynivka, Druzhkivka and, by separate means, Kramatorsk. However, these are only plans of the enemy because the Defense Forces are hitting the Russian invaders effectively, Fedorenko added.

"I will say frankly, the number of rounds of ammunition for firearms is given as a sign: for one of our shots, the enemy can make 6-7. But the Defense Forces use the available means of unmanned systems and hit the enemy effectively," he said.

According to Fedorenko, the enemy will suffer significant losses in both assault groups and armored vehicles. "During the mass assaults of the enemy, which he carries out under the cover of artillery, aviation, and unmanned systems, the enemy usually loses 50–70% of the equipment that participates in shock-assault operations," the battalion commander emphasized.
