New F-16s to arrive in Romania for pilot training

Three more F-16 fighter jets from the Royal Netherlands Air Force will arrive at the European F-16 Pilot Training Centre in Romania, where Ukrainian pilots are trained.

This was reported by the press service of the Romanian Ministry of Defence, Evropeiska Pravda reports.

According to the report, on Wednesday, 17 April, Romanian Defence Minister Angel Tilvar will meet with his Dutch counterpart Kajsa Ollongren at the 86th Air Force Base "Lieutenant of Aviation Gheorghe Mochornice" in Borca, where the European F-16 Training Centre (EFTC) was opened last year.

The meeting is dedicated to the arrival of three more F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft from the Royal Netherlands Air Force, which will be transferred to the training center as part of the pilot training programs.
