Occupiers destroyed Robotyne, but cannot capture it

Apr 16, 2024

Strangely enough, yesterday the Russian occupiers did not attack the positions of the Defense Forces near the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region, which was liberated last summer. Instead, they launched an air strike against them.

At least this is what the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in an evening report posted on the official Facebook page, among other things.

In his turn, our defender, who runs the Telegram channel "What's happening at the front?", wrote: "Robotyne. The enemy artillery is working around the clock. The occupiers are trying to break through to the outskirts of the settlement but are not successful. There are almost no houses in the settlement; it's all sand."

The Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine also reported on the severe destruction of Robotyne, publishing a video of the village filmed by an unmanned aerial vehicle: "... Fleeing from the Nazis, people were forced to leave because there was not a single intact house left.".
