Apr 16, 2024

Romania's Supreme Council of National Defence (CSAT) said that the country had been targeted by a number of Russian spies who, in particular, tried to gather information about military exercises and assistance to Ukraine.

The CSAT report was cited by Digi24.

According to the report, the alleged spies entered the country among Ukrainian refugees.

The goal of the spies was to obtain information in the field of defense and security. There were also attempts to obtain extremely important data on the assistance Romania provided to Ukraine.
