US does not want to engage in conflict with Iran - White House
The United States will continue to help Israel defend itself. However, the White House has stated that it does not seek war with Iran.

US President Joe Biden expressed Washington's “ironclad” support for Israel. However, further actions against Iran are inappropriate, and the United States will not participate in them.
National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said that the United States does not want to see an escalation of the conflict in the Middle East.
"We do not want to see escalation. We do not want to see an expansion of the war with Iran," Kirby said.
In particular, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said that Israel has the opportunity to create a strategic alliance "against the serious threat from Iran, which threatens to put nuclear explosives on these missiles, which could be an extremely serious threat."
"We have made it clear to all parties, including Iran, what we will do and how seriously we will take any potential threats to our personnel," Kirby said.-
