U.S. State Department said Ukraine can restore the 1991 state borders

Ukraine has all the possibilities to free the territories temporarily occupied by Russia and restore the 1991 borders.
This was stated by the Speaker of the U.S. Department of State, Matthew Miller, RBC-Ukraine reports with reference to his briefing.
The United States State Department noted that Ukraine has the right and the ability to restore its own borders, including the return of the occupied peninsula of Crimea.
"We support Ukraine in defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity," the State Department spokesman said in response to a question about whether U.S. aid was aimed at Ukraine's restoration of its 1991 borders.
