Vucic gave details of his conversation with Zelensky

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic spoke about a "correct" conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the European Political Community summit in Moldova.

Vucic also said that the conversation with Zelensky did not affect Serbia's position on imposing sanctions against Russia.

"We had a short and correct conversation, but the decision on sanctions is made by Serbian citizens through their leadership. We made our decision in March 2022 and defined our position. You can never change someone's position with one conversation," the Serbian president said.

Vucic said that Serbia pursues its own policy and that it is an independent country that respects Ukraine.
