The AFU began actively preparing for a counteroffensive

Ukraine has already begun preliminary operations to prepare for a counteroffensive against the Russian occupation forces.

This was stated by Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the Presidential Office, RBC-Ukraine reports citing The Gardian.

"This (counteroffensive - ed.) is a complex process that is not a matter of one day, a certain date or hour. This is a continuous process of de-occupation, and some processes are already underway, such as the destruction of supply lines or the blowing up of warehouses behind the front line," he said.

At the same time, Podolyak added that the intensity of the counteroffensive is increasing and will take a rather long period of time.

The OP adviser suggested that as the counteroffensive gains momentum, there will be new incursions by Russian guerrilla groups into Russian territory, such as the raid in Belgorod Oblast earlier this week.
