On 26 March, the British Foreign Office announced that it had summoned the Chargé d'Affaires of China due to a series of cyberattacks that London suspects Chinese hackers of being responsible for.
This is stated in a statement by the British Foreign Office.
The Chinese diplomat in London was given an unequivocal condemnation of "malicious cyber activity by Chinese state organizations and individuals linked to the Chinese government, aimed at democratic institutions and UK parliamentarians".
"The UK government will not tolerate such threatening activity and will continue to take strong action in response with partners around the world," the Foreign Office added.
