On Thursday, at the Chop border crossing point, border guards cleared a Prague-Chop train for the first time.
This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, according to Yevropeiska Pravda.
Border guards note that 125 people, including 10 crew members, arrived at the entrance to Ukraine by this train. In total, 107 Ukrainian citizens and 18 foreigners passed the border control.
This train will run daily, the State Border Guard Service adds.
"It is expected that this new passenger service will open up new opportunities for Ukrainians to travel conveniently to the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and with transfers to further EU countries," the border guards hope.
