Houthis attack US ship with drones

The Houthis attacked a US ship in the Red Sea with unmanned aerial vehicles, and all four drones were destroyed.

This is stated in the message of the US Central Command (CENTCOM) on the social network X.

The drones were aimed at a US warship and "were used by the Houthis for self-defense over the Red Sea".

There have been no reports of injuries to crews or damage to U.S. or coalition ships.

"The weapon was determined to pose an immediate threat to U.S. merchant vessels and U.S. Navy ships in the region," the statement said.
