On 25 March, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba had a telephone conversation with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell after the Russian missile attack on Kyiv and other cities.

Kuleba wrote about it on Twitter (X).

According to the Foreign Minister, he informed the EU's top diplomat about Russian ballistic missile strikes on Ukrainian cities, thanked him for his concerns and support, and stressed the importance of supplying additional air defense equipment.

"I also emphasized that Ukraine is currently the only country in the world that is under attack from ballistic missiles almost every day. That is why Patriot should be deployed here and now to save lives, and not to remain in places where the missile threat is zero," Kuleba said.

He added that he had discussed with Borrell ways in which the EU could help Ukraine receive more Patriots and other air defense systems as soon as possible.
