Mar 26, 2024

Self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has discussed a possible attack on the Suwalki Corridor, the territory of Lithuania and Poland located between Belarus and the Kaliningrad region of Russia.

Source: Alexander Naumenko posted by the Belarusian pro-government Telegram channel "Pool One".

Details: In the video, the Belarusian dictator - who is always holding a white spitz - asks the military about the width of the Suwalki corridor, which "they (probably meaning Lithuania - Ed.) are always talking about".

"It's in vain that they behave this way. But now you will have to confront the Baltic republics... And you will take part of Poland," Lukashenka said, having learned the width of the corridor (42 kilometers in a straight line).

The self-proclaimed president of Belarus then asks the military commander if he can hold this territory "with his troops". Naumenko assures him that "all actions have been planned, issues of combat readiness are being worked out, and personnel is being trained".
