It was convened at the initiative of the Ukrainian side after Russia's recent missile strikes on critical infrastructure, one of which is called the largest attack on the Ukrainian energy system during a full-scale war.

"Ukraine's Defence Minister Rustem Umerov informed the allies about the consequences of the Russian attacks, the response measures taken by Ukraine, and called on NATO member states to provide additional air and missile defense systems and missiles to protect Ukrainian cities and citizens," the mission said.
