Occupiers tried to break through in two directions in eastern Ukraine

Russian invaders tried to break through the Ukrainian defenses in two directions in eastern Ukraine over the current 24 hours. This is reported in the Operational Information of the AFU General Staff.

It is noted that during the day there were 50 military clashes.

According to the General Staff, in the Kupyansk direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions but carried out air strikes in the areas of Novohorovka, Ivanovka, and Kislovka settlements of the Kharkiv region.

At the same time in the Limansk direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 8 enemy attacks in the areas of Belogorovka, Luhansk region; Terny, Yampolovka, and north of Veseloye, Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aircraft, tried to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops.

Also in the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 5 enemy attacks near the settlements of Ivanovskoye, Bogdanovka, and Klischiivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 7 enemy attacks in the areas of Berdichi, Semenovka, and Pervomayske in the Donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the area of Novomikhailovka, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops 21 times.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy, with the support of aircraft, attacked 4 times the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the areas of Staromayorskoye, Donetsk region; Robotino and north-west of Verbovoye, Zaporizhzhya region. On the Kherson direction during the day the enemy made 3 unsuccessful attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops in the area of the Krynki locality of the Kherson region.
