The United States will defend every inch of NATO territory if one of its allies is attacked.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine regarding a briefing by Deputy Pentagon Spokesperson Sabrina Singh.

Singh was asked to comment on the flight of a Russian missile over the territory of Poland during the massive shelling of Ukraine and the possibility of destroying enemy targets if the incident repeats.

"I can tell you what this administration has said repeatedly: we will defend every inch of NATO territory. If a NATO ally is attacked - we certainly don't want to see that happen - but we will defend every inch of NATO territory," she said.

At the same time, the deputy spokesperson added that assistance to Ukraine remains a priority for the United States. It can be resumed after Congress allocates the necessary funding.

Missile debris was already falling in Poland, and now a missile has flown over. Isn't that enough? Are you waiting for a direct Russian strike on NATO countries? Maybe it's time to start acting?
