Poland plans to strengthen its border with Belarus

Polish law enforcement agencies want to strengthen their border with Belarus. It is planned to build observation towers about 70 meters high. GazetaPrawna reports this.
It is noted that a joint meeting of the National Defense Committee and the Committee on Administration and Internal Affairs was held in the Polish Sejm, where issues of illegal border crossings and methods used by migrants, such as bending barriers or swimming through culverts, were discussed.
“The agency is planning some actions, including modernizing the border fence by strengthening the barriers, installing additional cameras and lighting, as well as building observation towers and acquiring vertical take-off drones,” said Border Guard Commander General Robert Bagan.
