Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is engaging in "propaganda" by claiming that Russia will shoot down F-16s provided to Ukraine even at NATO air bases in Europe, Italian Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani said.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine regarding Ansa.
"It looks like propaganda: Russia made a bad impression with the attack (on Crocus City Hall in the Moscow region - ed.) I found it strange that the services (intelligence services - ed.) did not stop it," Tayani said on Rai1 TV channel.
"For now, he is trying to divert attention. I don't think Putin wants a world war also because he won't win it," he added.-
Earlier, on March 28, Putin said during a working trip to the Tver region:
"Of course, if they (F-16s - ed.) are used from airfields in third countries, they become a legitimate target for us, wherever they are."-
