The Kursk region of the Russian Federation reported the downing of a drone in the Suzhansky district. Local authorities claim that the UAV allegedly belonged to the Azov Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a statement by the Russian governor of the region, Roman Starovoit, on Telegram.
According to the Russian official, the drone "landed" in Sudzha, in the west of the Kursk region.
"Judging by the coloring, it belonged to the Azov battalion. Thank you for the service of the border guards and the army," the governor wrote.
To make the story of this "identification" more convincing, he posted a photo of an unusual drone. The image shows fragments of an unknown UAV with an image on the shank and wings that resemble the Azov emblem.
