Sweden allocates money for humanitarian aid for Ukraine

Mar 28, 2024

Sweden has allocated SEK 120 million ($11.3 million) to help the Gaza Strip, Ukraine, and Sudan through the UN food program.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine regarding the Minister of Aid and Foreign Trade of Sweden Johan Forssell.

"We are looking with great concern at the warnings of famine in some parts of the world, not least in Gaza and Sudan," the statement said.

The minister added that Sweden should take part and contribute to overcoming the negative trend and preventing the occurrence of hunger.

"Sweden is a close and valued partner of the UN Food Program, and I welcome the government's increased support for our crisis response efforts in Gaza, Sudan, and Ukraine," said Cindy McCain, head of the UN Food Program.

According to her, these funds will help us reduce hunger and save lives.

Yes, Sudan is by far the most geopolitically important state. And Gaza - make up your mind, either you help Israel with weapons or you help the Palestinians.
