This is reported by RBC-Ukraine regarding Voice of America.

It is noted that this issue was discussed by Assistant Secretary of State Kurt Campbell with Executive Vice Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu on March 27.

They discussed Beijing's support for Moscow's military-industrial base.

According to a State Department spokesperson, this phone call is part of ongoing efforts to maintain open lines of communication between the United States and China.

China began to maintain closer ties with Russia after the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. In particular, Beijing refused to join the sanctions imposed by the United States against the Kremlin. China and the Russian Federation share a mutual interest in challenging US dominance in the world order, as its relations with democratic countries are becoming increasingly tense.

In October last year, the US Department of Defense said that China, despite its denials, was supplying Russia with weapons. In particular, drones, small arms, and equipment.
