The World Bank has allocated 1.5 billion for the recovery of Ukraine

The World Bank's Board of Directors has approved a decision to allocate $1.5 billion to Ukraine under the Development Policy Loan (DPL).

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine regarding Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal's Telegram.

The head of government noted that $984 million of this amount will come from Japan and $516 million from the United Kingdom. The funds will be transferred by the end of March.

Shmyhal thanked the World Bank, and the governments of Japan and the United Kingdom for their support and contribution to the preservation of Ukraine's macro-financial stability.

"We will use these resources to cover the most important budget expenditures: social, humanitarian, and reconstruction purposes," the Prime Minister added.
