Spain has been monitoring the Russian ships Ivan Gren, Alexander Otrakovsky, and the oil tanker Kola in the Mediterranean for 5 days.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine regarding EMAD's statement.
According to the agency, the Spanish patrol boats Atalaya and Vigía first detected Russian vessels in Spanish sovereign waters in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula on the morning of Thursday, March 21.
They followed the Russian ships until they crossed the border into Portugal. There, the Portuguese frigate Bartolomeu Dias took over the patrol.
Then, from March 23 to March 26, three Russian ships were monitored by the Spanish patrol boat Vigía in the waters of the Gulf of Cadiz.
