Ukraine signs memorandum of cooperation with Denmark
The State Enterprise (SE) Defence Procurement Agency of Ukraine and the Danish Ministry of Defence's Procurement and Logistics Organisation (DALO) have signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation in defence procurement.
According to Yevropeiska Pravda, this was reported by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
Under the memorandum, the parties agreed to exchange experience and cooperate in the field of arms procurement in foreign markets.
According to Maryna Bezrukova, Director of the Defence Procurement Agency, procurement of modern weapons in cooperation with international partners is one of the key focuses of the state-owned enterprise.
"We are convinced that strengthening cooperation with the Danish Ministry of Defence's Procurement and Logistics Organisation will facilitate the conclusion of new contracts and the modernization of our Armed Forces," she said.
For his part, Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Dmytro Klimenkov thanked the Danish partners for their steadfast support of Ukraine.
"This event is another important step in deepening our cooperation in supplying the Armed Forces of Ukraine with modern weapons and military equipment," he said.
