Finland has sent a new package of military assistance to our country worth 109 million euros ($116.9 million). President Sauli Niinistö has accepted the respective proposal of the government.
This is reported with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Finland.
It is noted that the package of military aid will include, in particular, anti-aircraft weapons and ammunition.
According to Defense Minister Antti Kaikkonen, Finland will continue to support Ukraine together with international partners.
"For operational reasons and in order to ensure the safe delivery of the aid, no further details regarding the exact content, method and time of delivery are being disclosed," the press service adds.
Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Finland has provided the AFU with sixteen packages of military aid. The total value of all aid is 1.1 billion euros ($1.18 billion).
