Trump on his plans to bring Ukraine and Russia to the negotiating table

US President-elect Donald Trump has stated that he will not be a dictator - “except for the first day”. According to his own statements, he will have a lot to do on his first day in the White House.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to AP.

His list includes:

  • the beginning of mass deportations of migrants;
  • canceling the Biden administration's education policy;
  • reorganizing the federal government by firing thousands of federal employees who, according to Trump, are secretly working against him;
  • pardoning people arrested for their role in the storming of the Capitol on January 6, 2021;
  • bring Ukraine and Russia to the negotiating table.
“I want to close the border and I want to drill, drill, drill,” he said of his plans for the first day.

Trump's spokeswoman, Carolyn Leavitt, said that there would be dozens of executive orders in the first week.
